September 10, 2024TBN is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Saucon Technologies and Initek Consulting, unveiling a new API connection that bridges the gap between the industry’s long-standing standard in ELD solutions and the most innovative software solution in the charter bus industry.
This new integration enables Saucon users, for the first time, to streamline data connections between operations software and ELD compliance data. This enhancement creates a more seamless and reliable connection between critical tools such as payroll, billing, and compliance.
With this release, users will not only be able to transmit vehicle location data but also a wide range of other essential information, including driver details, logging events, vehicle start and end times, mileage data, and crucial state-based mileage information for IFTA reporting.
“We are thrilled that our users can fully leverage the capabilities of TBN’s tools through Saucon’s platform,” said Mike McDonal, Saucon’s Director of Regulatory Compliance and Industry Relations.
TBN’s CEO, Chris Riddell, shared his thoughts on the partnership: “We are committed to creating an ecosystem where data flows effortlessly between the systems that operators rely on. This integration represents a significant leap forward for Saucon users and opens up new opportunities that we are excited to facilitate.”
This new integration underscores Saucon’s dedication to its users and the transportation industry, meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
Mike McDonal further added, “We recognize that TBN is helping operators achieve long-overdue advancements in the industry, enabling them to fully utilize their data. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to the industry, and this new project is clear evidence of our willingness to do what it takes to drive the industry forward.”
Initek Consulting Founder and Owner, Ben O’Day, expressed his enthusiasm about the role his company played in this integration. “Saucon users are excited about the possibilities this brings as they explore TBN’s software, powered by Initek’s integration. With this new dataset, bringing compliance and operations together has never been easier, and the powerful tools Initek has developed in partnership with TBN make operations simpler than ever before.”
