Your Salespeople Aren’t Salespeople Yet — And That’s Fixable
August 27, 2026This release focuses on the tools your dispatch and operations teams use every day. Dispatch Planning gains the filtering and sorting our largest fleets asked for, driver scheduling becomes reportable, and a long-requested dark mode arrives across the platform. A round of smaller fixes rounds out the release.
Dark Mode
A full dark theme is now available across the platform. Users who spend most of the working day in TBN can switch to a lower-contrast display that reduces eye strain, and the preference stays set between sessions. Light mode remains the default.
Dispatch Planning: Multi-Select Filters and Chronological Sorting
Dispatch Planning is now practical as a primary dispatch tool for large fleets. Based directly on feedback from operators running high trip volumes:
- Trips requiring vehicles can be filtered by Dispatch Type, Vehicle Type, Yard and Category — and each filter now accepts multiple selections at once.
- The vehicle list supports the same multi-select filtering by Base of Operation, Vehicle Type and Booking Category.
- Trips awaiting assignment can be sorted chronologically by departure time, so dispatchers can work from the soonest departure outward across the 1, 3, 7 and 14 day planning windows.
Driver Scheduling Export
Driver schedules entered in TBN can now be exported for reporting. The export gives managers a summary view of driver availability and hours — how many drivers are available, which are utilized and which are not — without counting rows by hand on the availability screen.
School Bus Routes in Driver and Vehicle Availability
School Bus has been added as a Dispatch Type option on the Driver and Vehicle Availability reports. Drivers and vehicles allocated to school routes now appear on the availability graph alongside bookings, scheduled service and tours, so school work no longer looks like open capacity.
Editable Driver Employment Status
Employment Status on the Driver Detail page is now editable rather than read-only. Editing is available to administrator, manager, dispatcher and HR-level roles; other roles continue to see the field as read-only.
Stronger Driver Checks When Creating a Dispatch
Driver validation now runs when a driver is assigned while creating a new dispatch from the Vehicle Assignment page — not only when editing an existing one. Overlap and rest-period conflicts, driving licence expiry and medical card expiry are all checked at the point of assignment. In addition, if a validation check cannot complete, the dispatcher is now told rather than the save proceeding silently with no warnings shown.
Smarter Copy Route
Copying a route no longer carries over the credit card surcharge add-on. Any add-on matching the CC surcharge configured in Account Settings is excluded automatically, which prevents the surcharge being applied twice on the copied route.
GA4 Conversion tracking for Booking Widget 2.0
GA4 and Google Tag tracking can now be applied to the embedded booking request widget, so agencies and marketing teams can measure quote conversions from the sites where the form is hosted.
*This feature is available in booking widget 2.0. If you would like it, please reach out to support!
