Drivers can now submit time off requests from the driver portal
Drivers can submit time off requests directly through the driver portal — no more calling or emailing the office. Admins review and approve or deny requests from the user portal, and drivers are notified of the decision.
Drivers can submit recurring availability schedules
Drivers with recurring weekly schedules can submit their standard availability through the driver portal, giving dispatch a real-time view of who is available each week.
Drivers can view, edit, and cancel their own schedule submissions
Submitted time off and availability requests are visible to drivers in the portal, where they can edit or cancel them before an admin has reviewed them.
Configurable notifications for schedule requests
Admins can configure who gets notified when a driver submits a schedule request. Drivers are automatically notified when their request is approved or denied.
Trip Records *New Feature*
Drivers can now log trip details directly on the dispatch
A new Trip Records section has been added to the dispatch detail page in both the user portal and the driver portal. Drivers can log start/end times, first pickup, odometer readings, and other trip details digitally — replacing paper work tickets.
Dispatch Improvements
Publish assignments warning before sending
A confirmation warning now appears before publishing assignments from the Dispatch Main Report, Driver Availability, and Scheduler — preventing accidental mass notifications.
Publish buttons added to route detail page
Publish Assignments and Publish Work buttons are now available directly on the Route Detail page, so you no longer need to navigate back to the main dispatch report to publish.
Mobile view improvements on dispatch main report
The Dispatch Main Report and Create Booking flow now work significantly better on mobile devices, with improved layout and usability for dispatchers working in the field.
“Today” button added to driver and vehicle availability pages
The Today button — already available on the Dispatch Main Report — has been added to the Driver Availability and Vehicle Availability pages so you can quickly jump to the current date.
Pricing & Tax Updates
Tax rate can now be set by yard
For companies operating across regions with different tax rates (e.g. Canadian operators), a tax rate can now be configured per yard and will automatically apply to bookings departing from that yard.
Tax exempt toggle on contacts and organizations
A Tax Exempt checkbox has been added to Contact and Organization detail pages. When enabled, tax is not applied to bookings for that contact or organization.
Tax rate preserved when copying a route
When copying an existing route, the tax rate from the original route is now carried over to the copy rather than reverting to the default.
Price rounding setting added to contract rates
A price rounding override can now be configured on Pricing Calendar Markups when associated with a contract rate, giving more control over how prices are calculated.
“Call Us” setting now configurable per vehicle type
A new checkbox on the Vehicle Type page allows you to trigger the “Call Us” setting in the booking widget when a quote includes that vehicle type — useful for specialty vehicles that require a consultation before booking.
Reports & Performance
Several reports no longer auto-run on page load
The Driver Actuals Review, Adjusted Price, Sales Tax Audit, and Addons by Dispatch reports now load empty and only run after you click Apply Filters — significantly reducing page load time and unnecessary data retrieval.
Report parameters now appear at the bottom of CSV exports
Report parameters (date ranges, filters applied) in CSV exports have been moved to the bottom of the file instead of the top, making it easier to open exports directly in Excel.
Fees and surcharges report
A new Fees and Surcharges Totals report has been added under Reports → Dispatch, breaking out Cleaning Fee, WiFi Fee, Overnight Fee, and Fuel Surcharge by dispatch.
Summary by salesperson added to booking totals report
A new Summary by Salesperson view has been added to the Booking Totals by Month report, letting you break down monthly totals by individual salesperson.
Driver reference ID in driver pay rates and other assignments
Driver Reference ID is now included in the Driver Pay Rates report and the Other Assignments export report, making it easier to match records to payroll systems.
Seniority report now filterable by primary location
Driver primary location has been added as a column and filter to the Seniority Report.
Group name column added to AR aging report
Group Name is now available as a column on the AR Aging report, making it easier to distinguish bookings for different groups within larger organizations.
Billing contact added to transactions report
Billing Contact is now shown as a column on the Transactions report, making it easier to identify who is responsible for each transaction.
Driver actuals report date filters now work correctly
The Driver Actuals Report was not honoring custom date filters — it now correctly filters by the date range you select, allowing reports of 3 months or longer.
Booking totals search now finds results on all pages
Search in the Booking Totals report was missing results on page 2 and beyond. It now searches across all records, not just the first page.
Invoicing & Payments
Tax line now visible in summary booking view
Tax is now shown as a line item in the standard (non-detailed) booking summary view, so you can see tax amounts without switching to the detailed view.
Invoice notes now exportable
The Internal Notes field on invoices is now included in invoice dashboard exports.
“Created date” filter added to invoice dashboard
A Created Date filter has been added to the Invoice Report, making it easier to find invoices by when they were created rather than just the invoice date.
Automatic receipt improvements
Card payment receipts now include the customer’s preferred formatting for receipt details, following feedback on the existing receipt layout. Customer portal receipt format also updated.
Year added to dates on driver work tickets and invoices
Date fields on driver work tickets and invoices now include the year, removing ambiguity for multi-year bookings.
“Send Statement” replaces “Send Payment Confirmation” on bulk payments
The bulk invoice payment flow now offers Send Statement instead of Send Payment Confirmation, giving customers a more useful summary document after bulk payments are applied.
Contacts, Organizations & Users
“Customer portal” column added to contacts report
A new Customer Portal column on the Contacts report shows an Invite button for contacts without portal access and a Reinvite button for those who already have a password set.
“Send Activation Email” becomes “Resend Activation Email” after first send
The Send Activation Email button on contact detail pages now changes to Resend Activation Email after the first email has been sent, making it clearer what action you’re taking.
Company column on contacts and organization detail pages
When a contact or organization has bookings across multiple companies, a Company column now appears on their booking and quote tables to make cross-company records easier to read.
TBN Team Access Removal
A Company can now disable the TBN Team access to its user portal, by turning on the Remove TBN Team Access checkbox in Account Settings.
Last login column now company-specific
The Last Login column on the User Accounts and Roles page now shows the login date specific to the company you’re viewing, rather than a global last login across all companies.
“Inbound Call” added as a quote source option
Inbound Call has been added as an option in the Source field on quotes.
Scheduling & Workflow
Multi-tab conflict prevention
When the same portal page is open in multiple browser tabs, the system now detects when another tab has saved changes and warns you before you overwrite them — preventing stale data from accidentally replacing newer updates.
Terms & conditions can now be sent automatically with every quote
A new Account Setting checkbox allows you to automatically attach your Terms & Conditions PDF to every quote email sent out.
Publish assignments email now sent from no-reply address
A new setting allows publish assignment emails to be sent from TBN’s default no-reply address instead of the salesperson’s email.
To-do list filters now sticky
Start and end date filters on the To-Do list page now remain set when you navigate to other tabs and return.
Transfer builder updated to use edit stops modal
The first step of the Transfer Builder now uses the same Edit Stops modal and components as the rest of the route-building flow, providing a more consistent experience.
Bug Fixes
Pricing calendar no longer hangs when opening a markup event
Opening a markup event on the Pricing Calendar was causing the page to hang for 5–10 seconds or longer. This performance issue has been resolved.
Driver actuals payroll period warning resolved
Some users were receiving a “no payroll period found” warning when completing driver actuals despite a valid payroll period being set. This has been fixed.
Payment history document ordering fixed
The Payment History document was not sorting by departure date. It now orders correctly.
Vehicle and addon order on booking detail page fixed
Vehicles and addons on the booking detail page were displaying in reverse order compared to the route. They now match the route ordering.
Last portal login date now uses correct time zone
The Last Portal Login date for customers was displaying in EST even when the company was set to a different time zone. It now correctly reflects the company’s configured time zone.
Inactive vehicle types hidden from utilization report when past inactivity date
Vehicle types marked as inactive are now excluded from the Vehicle Utilization Report for date ranges after their inactivity date, giving cleaner historical and future reporting.
Booking filters fully sticky on bookings page
Multiple booking filter sticky fixes: filters, search, and results now all persist correctly when navigating away and returning to the bookings page.
“Add Ticket Upgrade” button on tour date detail page now works correctly
The + Add Ticket Upgrade button in the Purchased Ticket Upgrades section of the Tour Date Detail page was not functioning correctly. This has been fixed.
Document upload issue on scheduled service trips fixed
An issue preventing documents from being added to scheduled service trips on a specific day has been resolved.
